Medvednica is a mountain north of Zagreb, and it is also a nature park. It is well known for its biodiversity and natural and preserved forests. It is also the favorite getaway for locals and a great place for visitors. During the summer months it is perfect for hiking and biking, and in winter it is a skiing destination. Medvednica is a great choice to escape the busy city. Enjoy its paths through dense forests, sunny meadows, take a walk by the streams and visit the medieval Medvedgrad castle.
